Boeing Jobs in Charleston SC - RAMPING UP!

Several sources in the past week have reported an increase in hiring activity to support current and future job positions within Boeing. For reference, I am referring to Boeing Co. at its expanding 787 manufacturing facility in North Charleston.  A recent announcement from Boeing described the need for experienced aircraft assemblers to perform a variety of roles including: structural work, fastener installation and inspections.

Boeing is seeking candidates with four years of large structural component assembly or four years large structural component maintenance, repair and overhaul experience. Per a recent article in the Post and Courier, a high school diploma or equivalency is required.

According to Boeing Spokeswoman, Candy Eslinger the company will open with 1,000 on the jobroll and eventually employ 3800. The company has received more that 860 orders for the 787 Dreamliner and they are set to roll off the assembly line in early 2012.

Looking for a job with your company Im retired U.S. Airforce currently working in Saudi Arabia as Pneudraulic/ Hydraulic tech. on the F-15 aircraft. I would like to come back to the U.S. to work so I can be at home with my family.Please respond.

Kenneth - Many thanks for visiting my site and commenting on the post regarding Boeing hiring activity. I am not a recruiter but rather a REALTOR who blogs about real estate - jobs - local events etc. To read about jobs available with Boeing you must visit some of the websites I have mentioned in my blog post.
