Keller Williams Charleston SC - RED DAY 2010 at Charleston Youth Development Center

I am 50 years old ..........  So what – that doesn’t make me unique?  There is a reason for stating my age… In  all my “work years” I have never  participated in a National Effort to give back to the community until RED DAY!

RED ( Renew – Energize – Donate) is a Keller Williams Realty, service, initiative dedicated to improving  local communities and the lives of those who live in these communities. “Give Where You Live” was the Slogan for the 2010 – 2^nd Annual Red Day held on May 13th.

Here in the Charleston SC – Tricounty area we had several initiatives and you could see KW agents proudly wearing their RED DAY t-shirts while they collected food both human and otherwise for various organizations or while they cleaned and landscaped Collins Park in North Charleston planting over 160 new shrubs/plants.

For the Charleston West Keller Williams office we worked to spruce up the Dorm Rooms at the Carolina Youth Development Center (formerly the Charleston Orphan House) by repainting the bedrooms in their Emergency Shelter facility. For anyone unsure of the Mission of the Carolina Youth Development Center this organization provides a safe & nurturing environment for children, many of whom have suffered unspeakable abuse.

Through out North America an estimated 30,000 Keller Williams agents participated in Red Day – and this REALTOR is proud to say she was one with many.
